BROOMFIELD, Colorado, WASHINGTON, and DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, March 31, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Inclined Vita (Vita), a developer and producer of precision equipment and load stabilization for helicopters and cranes, today announced ALEC Engineering and Contracting (ALEC) piloted the company Vita lifting system in the fourth quarter of 2021. ALEC has selected the Vita Inclinata lifting system for field testing after a comprehensive evaluation. The Vita system was originally inspected in the United Arab Emirates by Astron Certification, in accordance with international and United Arab Emirates lifting standards.
As a leading construction company in the GCC, ALEC owns and operates its own equipment, including 33 cranes, 122 pieces of heavy equipment and 8 winches. The company has successfully completed more than 100 complex projects in various sectors, including airports, commercial spaces, hotels and resorts, high-rise buildings and theme projects. “Dubai construction projects are constantly faced with extreme heat and wind conditions which often create significant safety risks and extended delays,” said Caleb Carr, CEO of Vita Inclinata. “We are honored that ALEC selected our lift system for evaluation and delighted to see that our technology performed so well in these high-level evaluations.”
After a brief training and certification program, ALEC took control of the Vita Load Pilot (VLP) and conducted a multi-week field trial at two separate sites in the United Arab Emirates. Although the smallest of Vita’s industrial systems, the VLP was pushed to its functional limits and performed flawlessly, providing remote and precise load control without leader lines at heights over 200m, traversing or “walking”. » when cornering and in strong wind conditions.
“As a multidisciplinary company, ALEC has built a reputation as a problem solver using innovation to help deliver complex projects on time, on budget and safely,” said Imad Itani, Head of innovation at ALEC. “We have been impressed with the robust and easy to use semi-automatic load control technology of the Vita Lift System which will improve operations by improving efficiency, reducing downtime caused by high winds, minimizing risks for the load and life on the construction site, as well as a source of savings.
